6EA7 Amplifier

SE 6EA7 Amplifier.

Picture of the completed amp.  Notice that there is only one tube per channel.  The third tube on the far left is a 5Y3 rectifier. 

Side shot.  The Birds Eye Maple sides are truly impressive looking.

Bottom Shot.  The whole idea behind this amp was keep it cheep.  The most expensive part of the amp was the Hammond output transformers which were $28 each from Angela Instruments.  

Output power is limited by the Hammond 125E output transformers.  The amp produces 1.8 watts into a 16 or 8 ohm load and 0.8 watts into 4 ohms.
